Informa Health and Fitness Centre is based in Limassol, Cyprus, and was created by two fitness experts, Marinos Andreou and Maria Pelekani. At Informa Health and Fitness Centre the element of fun, the driving music, light effects and the fact that every class is different is what makes the studio popular with fitness enthusiasts who may be bored WITH THE REGULAR GYMS.
Entering our Studio for the first time: You will not see any fancy machines or lines of treadmills with big Tv screens . What you will see is power cages, Olympic bars and free weights, kettlebbels, medicine balls and all kind of functional training tools and equipment. At InForma we don’t believe in isolation exercising. We believe and we promote functional movement and total body strength.
InForma promotes Health and Fitness not only at the gym but also with other activities like the InForma Cycling Team, exercising outdoors, even lectures and presentations about topics like nutrition and motivation.

Marinos is the co-founder and co- owner of Informa Health and Fitness Centre in Limassol as well as the creator of the intense training program “THE HUNDRED®“. Born in Limassol, Marinos grew up playing football in several Limassol football clubs and by the time he reached his teenager years he discovered cycling and soon fell in love with it. Graduating with a 1st class from High School, he went on to study Mechanics where he also holds a degree, though his love and devotion for fitness, in all its forms, found him in America following a career in the fitness industry.
Marinos’s many achievements and credits include American Fitness Professional Certified, Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Trainer and Indoor Cycling Trainer. He is also a Star 1 Certified Spinning Trainer and a TRX Trainer. He is also a certified Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. Marinos devotes most of his time to Informa Studio working both as Personal and Group Exercise Trainer. His skills are also in high demand externally and he is currently collaborating with the Anorthosis Ammoxostou Volley Ball Academy and serving the roll of the Coach of Strength and conditioning. He regularly works with children of all ages, from the AEL Limassol Football Academies , as well as several teams and athletes from other divisions and sports, training them and focusing mainly on strength, power and coordination. Marinos is very much involved with cycling and wanting to share his love for this sport with people of all ages, he has created the Informa Amateur Cycling Club.
In 2012 Marinos created THE HUNDRED®, a group exercise program lasting 100 days that combines intense workout sessions with a day to day eating plan. The aim is ones total body transformation and education in making better life style choices. He truly believes that exercising is what makes humans better themselves both physically and emotionally.

Maria’s instructional talent, creative methodologies and style have been consistently recognized for their effectiveness. She is among other, a certified YOGA TEACHER, Yoga Alliance (RYT – 200) and also a Certified THAI Yoga MASSAGE Therapist . Within the 10 years of Yoga Practice and Teaching , she created the “Informa school of Yoga”. Prior to becoming a business owner at Informa Health and Fitness Centre she spent 10 years in fitness industry as a Fitness Manager and an instructor. As well as that she was involved with the Marketing sight of things, as she holds a degree in Business Administration /Concentration in Management and Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Business with concentration in Managing Health and fitness Clubs. Maria worked in several fitness clubs in NYC and Connecticut including the YMCA-Bridgeport-CT where she held the position of the fitness Manager and was awarded as the YMCA “Strong KID Builder “and fitness instructor.
She is also a certified Cardio Kickboxing® instructor, BOSU® Certified trainer, TRX® Suspension Trainer, STOTT® Reformer Pilates Instructor, AFPA Pilates MAT I, II,III instructor, Spinning® instructor, AFPA Indoor Cycling® Instructor . Other achievements include graduating from GRAFTS fitness Academy/ strength and Conditioning trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, Certified on Les Milles Body Combat, Body Pump instructor. As a CERTIFIED PERSONAL TRAINER, Maria uses a blend of strength training techniques together with yoga, Pilates and all other forms of cardio conditioning with her clients.
Her background and experience of dance and fitness is vast. From a young age she explored many styles of dancing including ballet, Jazz, Latin, Hip Hop and modern dance so it is not a surprise that Zumba® Fitness was a natural progression to her career. She is a Zin member since September 2010, certified Zumba® fitness and Zumba® toning instructor. Maria has truly found what she loves to do the most , and that is having the opportunity to help others improve their health and lives through exercise which fires her up and gets her jumping out of bed every morning.
